Maybe you've never heard of NYC-based menswear line, Baron Wells, but we, for one, are liking what we see. The label that started in early 2010 and is landing on our radar now for their distinct, modern play on the New England prepster. Baron Wells' keen sense of detail shines through with the combination pockets in subdued hues, atop darker button-ups, making for quirky-yet-understated work-ready attire. Most recently, Baron has also been treading in the hipster pool, namely with a collaboration for their Spring 2011 campaign that featured Chaz Bundick from the band Toro y Moi. Their newest lookbook was appropriately shot at the hip, music-loving ACE Hotel (whose staff happens to sport Baron Wells' ties as part of their official uniform). Baron Wells also earns major brownie points for being a locally-produced collection (except for their accessories which are made in Como, Italy.) Bookmark Baron now, because we've got a good feeling about this one.
